HIFU and Fractional CO2
High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) is a non invasive vaginal procedure which uses a vaginal probe which emits ultrasound energy. This energy heats the tissue in the vagina and forces collagen reconstruction and regeneration. The result is an increase in sexual gratification, treatment of stress urinary incontinence, increased lubrication, increased sensitivity and a decrease in recurrent vaginal infections.
The fractional CO 2 laser is similar to the HIFU but uses laser energy to restructure the collagen within the vagina.
The procedure is a 20 minute session and best results are noticed a monthly intervals for 3 months.
